Concrete posts for close board fencing 2400 x 100 x 100 (8ft x 4″ x 4″)

This is our ‘lightweight’ concrete posts 2400 x 100 x 100 or 8ft x 4″ x 4″.

  • Please note if you use a gravel board and a 1650 (5ft 6″) feather edged board the tops of the posts may show.
  • Reinforced for extra strength
  • Designed to take 3no 75 x 50 (3″ x 2″) timber rails
  • With or without concrete gravel boards

Our 100 x 100 concrete posts are the perfect alternative for the recessed post if you are after a lighter version. They have the precast holes similar to the 8’3″ recessed posts however no recesses for the rails so if you are using a gravel board, you will need to ‘pack’ the gravel board out to allow that feather edge board to sit on the gravel board.

All posts reinforced with steel rods for extra strength.

Delivery

For delivery please allow 3-5 working days before your order is ready for dispatch as some of our products are manufactured to order. Once manufactured, the product will be dispatched using your chosen shipping method. For these products, our transport team will call you to inform you of when delivery will be made, so please ensure that you can be reached on the contact number(s) provided.

  • Kerbside delivery Only
  • Items will be sent via our own transport unless other arrangements are agreed with the customer beforehand.
  • In both cases delivery is calculated by postcode. A delivery calculator is provided on the basket page to give guidance on the total cost of delivery for your selected items.
  • In the event that our vehicle cannot reach the correct location due to road conditions Hodges and Lawrence will pass any costs to the customer.
